The faint smell of spices and a mysterious chant from somewhere behind you… the aisles fill with dancers clad in skirts and embroidered mirrors. The stage fills with music, color; ankle bells joining the rhythm, the journey begins… from India’s Gypsy roots to the cymbals, swinging tassels and glass beads of Egypt, the wild trances and chants of the Tuareg Blue People of North Africa… Moroccan Mint tea... a Traveler from some distant land moves by...performing magic and amazing feats, followed by another person, juggling... the wooden spoons and swirling skirts of the Turkish Gypsies, Turkish coffee... The ruffles and calls of the Spanish Flamenco. The exotic food of the Near East... It's at the bazaar, that the tribes converge... Please join us In the beautiful Wine Country of Sonoma County for a full weekend of Middle Eastern (with stops along the Silk Road) Dance and Music Saturday 11:00 to 9:00 Sunday 11:00 to 6:00 Non-stop dance performances Vendors from all across the lands ready to offer you the most rare and exotic goods collected from their travels Outside Souk Where musicians gather and play, weaving songs and melodies for us to sway and dance to.
